Brand Rep Diaries: Dougie the Dachshund

Dougie go to outfit at the moment is his pistachio trekfit fleece with the green two tone collar. (Complemented with the raincoat if wet) he then will wear a nude/stone chunky knitted snood from silly sausage and a taggy tails tag.

My go to are always more neutral tone, black, khaki, nudes are my entire personality but then I do love the brighter colours against dougies Black and Tan markings.

I can’t possible pick one. The fleeces. Raincoats and collars speak for themselves. We are utterly obsessed with the quality, fit and durability of them. & the human fleeces. Don’t get me started. The thickest, softest, warmest fleece ever made. My fella can’t wait for the drop to grab one. 

Maybe a different style of coat. Like a puffa or equivalent to match the sizing of the fleeces. Definitely more collars and leads. I would also love a rucksack that has complete dog sense behind it being made like d hooks etc on the handles, waterproof etc for all the adventures together. Human gilet out of the fleece material would be amazing.

Favourite season? Summer or spring, sunshine fills me with happiness. although we do love a frosty walk with bright blue skies. 

Favourite place to go on a walk? Lake District ! Nothing will touch the views. Our favourite to date is definetly the seathwaite to scafell pike with the scrambling and views etc. 

Dougie has climbed two out or three tallest mountains and hoping to complete Ben Nevis this year. Dougie is extremely well travelled with the uk though having ticked off about every tourist city now.

When he happy and content in a place he turns on to his back and rubs his back doing almost the snake/ work movement with his belly in the air. We call it his happy dance. He also never stops wagging his tail on a walk with he honestly the happiest little man and everyone comments on the pure joy in his tail. 

Liver paste or a squeaky ball. The boy will pretty much do anyrhing for these.

As a brand rep for Trekfit, what I love most is the opportunity to be part of a passionate small business and community she has built that genuinely cares about dogs and their well-being. The amazing quality of the products speaks for itself, and being able to share that with fellow dog lovers is incredibly fulfilling. I have such a genuine love for this brand and their products having supported them and seeing them grow, it’s inspiring to promote such an amazing company who we can’t speak more highly off.

Don’t get me wrong we also love the extra perks of the discount kindly given and getting sneak peeks at new products and having the chance to provide input is incredible and lets us put ideas forward for what other dogs may need or products missing from the market. Trekfit makes me feel valued and involved in the brand’s journey and she is honesty so lush.  Plus, seeing dogs enjoy the fleece and accessories brings so much joy, as we do knowing we have such an insane products for our boy.

Dougie is 4kg and wears a small in trekfit in all products. Dougie loves adventuring and has completed 18 miles in one go and we couldn’t be without trekfit products on our adventure.
